Hello everyone,
I am new to asking for help on forums especially when it comes to my computer. I am a tech guy, but I am mostly proficient in software not hardware. I know enough about hardware to be very distructive. I recently found out my video card will not cut the mustard with a few of my games so I went on the hunt to find another card. There are several options but I don't know what would be the best considering I am on a budget of $200 or less and on top of it need a new power supply since mind is only 300 W. Would someone please help me out with recommendations I would greatly appreciate it?

Thanks

How about a EVGA GTS250 for $105 after rebate:

and a Corsair 450VX psu for $60 a/r:

AMD also makes nice competing cards like the 4850, but I suggest Nvidia so that you will not have to change drivers.

Even if you stay with Nvidia, you might want to check and make sure you have the latest drivers.

I am in the process of upgrading my pc as well. I would definitely advise you to get hold of a new psu (400 - 600w) for mid range gaming and then have a look at the 9 series from nvidia.
