Single BFG GTX285 vs. 8800GT in SLI?

I found a BFG GTX285 OC video card on clearance for $175. I have two 8800GT's in SLI in a Dell XPS630. Is the single GTX285 going to give me a boost in performance that's worth $175 over the 8800GT's or should I get my money back?

GTX285 for $175 is an AMAZING deal, and will smash on 2 8800GTs, especially in games that aren't SLI capable. Keep it, 100%.

But to answer your question, you won't see a $175 difference, but you could sell those 8800s and see a $50 difference for sure. GTX285s usually go for $300+.

Holy crap, I would pick that up! Mind sharing where you saw that? haha.

The 285 is a CRUSHER. It will plow through anything you throw at it.

If it wasn't on sale I'd say no, as the difference wouldn't be good enough, but that deal is way to sweet to pass up, and you will see a notable difference. Especially if you like to play a lot of old games as well. TES3/Starcraft and the such.
