Hey, I'm looking for a good headset for under $80. What I'm looking for is the best voice quality. I'm going to be live broadcasting, so my mic is basically always going to be open so low background noise is also very important. I'm not so concerned with the audio quality or comfortability, though those are a plus, I'll take great voice quality (and low background noise) over that.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond, but when I ask people this question I seem to get the answer "well this 30$ logitech one I have works good for me." That's not really an answer I'm looking for, I'm looking for the best for around $80. If you're not confident that the headset you're suggesting is one of the top for that price range, please don't bother. =)
Dang, I sound like a jerk. >.> Anyways, thanks everyone! <3
Let me clarify, so your basically looking for a high quality mic and don't really care about the other stuff, if its at the expense of the input mic quality.
Is there any reason you need a headset, how about a standalone mic, with a pair of headphones?
I've already got a very nice standalone mic (Samson C03U) and the quality is amazing, the thing is it's just inconvenient, it takes up a lot of desk space (which is VERY limited on my desk) and it picks up keyboard/mouse noise very badly since it's closer to them than it is to me. For my situation, I'm going to be live broadcasting so my mic will basically always be open. I know I'll never get rid of all of the background noise, but all I'm going for really is "less" and also freeing up desk space. I just want the convenience of a headset.
Sigh, I wish someone would've said something. x.x No one replied, so I went out, bought a $100 headset and wow, it's absolute garbage. It sounds worse than my old $20 headset.
