Hi, i would just to tell you about my pc setup and if you have any tips on makeing my computer faster when gameing. my setup, motherboard xfx 780i, cpu qx6850 quad plus a Corsair CWCH50-1 Cooling Hydro Series H50 keeping it nice and cool. graphics card evga 470 gtx, memory 2 sticks of ocz peaper total 4gb timeings 5-5-5-15 voltage 2.2, my memory runing at 1066. all my temperatures our fine but for some reason when im gameing my pc doesnt seem to be running smooth? none of my setup is OC. any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, game is gears of war my only game i have :D and the settings are all on normal. i think my problem might be with memory its on auto. can i change the settings for it to run fastest! front side bus ect. im a bit new to overclocking :pt1cable:

Settings look fine....When playing Gears do you have vsync enabled? Also, what kind of things does it do to not make gameplay "smooth"? Is it clipping, artifacting, hitching? What resolution are you playing at?

What kind of drives do you have? HDD, CD-ROM, etc.

it seems i bit slow a bit like lag, its lacking power somewhere. im sorry but what does vsync mean?. i cant think at mo what the resolution is but im sure its fine. my drivers is only 1 hdd and 1 dvd rom.

What type of HDD ...like cache,rpm,capacity? vsync means vertical sychronization of the frame rate example: 1366x768@60Hz vsync limits the frame rate to 60 fps for "smoothness"

i've got a 300GB 10000 RPM, 16 cache VelociRaptor. i looked i control display 1280 x 1024 recommended, monitor settings 60 hertz

how do i enabled vsync not sure were to go. i dont have any other nvidia progams only driver for graphics card
