hi guys i built my desktop and wanted to do some 3Dmark Vantage benchmark test.

im not sure that im in the right section but i will appreciate any of your suggestions.

when i start the benchmark test, the first that Jane blah blah test went very well. however, the second one which is New Calico

gives me the weird error.

'CreateVertexShader failed: An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function.'

im running on Vista 32bits. with AMD Phenom II X4 955

and Sapphire HD 4890 Vapor-X Toxic Ed Crossfired.

Make sure you have the latest drivers from ATI. Double check you have the newest version of 3DMark Vantage, the version should be 1.0.1 I believe. Here is the hotfix if you do not have that vers: LINK!!!

ihave CCC version 9.6 and the version of 3DMark Vantage is 1.0.1 ....

any other suggestions?

Is AI on, and set to advanced?

yes. Catalyst AI is on and set it to advanced. all the way to the right

Try 3DMark without CF, and test the cards individually. See if one of them gives the same error.

i disabled CF and tried it. but it gives me the same error...

Does your lcd run in 12x10 mode/res?
