Turn fan off

I have a S6510 fujitsu laptop, the fan noise is so annoying I like to know how to have turned off permanantly? I am using a laptop cooling base to keep cool!

I would not recommend you shut the cooling fan off, an outer cooler is not as efficient for cooling the processor or other components. You could instead just set the BIOS to manage the cooler fan speed and that will make it run at variable speed and much quiter... but before you do install a temp monitor application so you can later check if the tempetature increase is within an acceptable range.
