Hey all, basically what I'm doing right now is building eight, yes eight budget pc's to play wow multiboxed.

To sum it up so far I've got random cases with random psus (logisys both of them)
jetway mobo's for am2 processsors
Sempron single cores
2gigs ddr2800
160GB wd hdd's

Basically all I need now is a gpu that will run wow @ lowest settings.

Was originally thinking that a 4670 would be enough and it will be but at 64.99 I think cheaper may be better.

Suggestions?

4650's or something along those lines.

Thanks guys.

at least get a basic msi/gigabyte/asus motherboard, jetway isn't renowned for their quality

Considering I started my time with Warcrack on an FX5200, I would say youll be fine with 43xx/93xx/94xx level cards.

I actually found an ASUS 9600GSO 384 for 54.99 on newegg.

I may go with these.

I changed once more to e5200's on Gigabyte boards to compliment the nvidia card.

for a mere 423 before taxes & shipping

Top 10 reasons for building 8 Wow boxes:

10) A crate of Ideazon Fangs fell off a truck, and you have to do *something* with them.
9) Mom thinks "Wow". Ever watch porn in Imax? *That's* WOW!
8) Really, really *hates* LFG.
7) Oil-fired furnace broke down.
6) Will prove once and for all that the ideal group is Warrior, Priest, and 6 Mages.
5) Best way to shut down neighbor's wireless Comcast connection.
4) Deep inner need to simulate having 7 friends.
3) ADHD, out of Ritalin.
2) Made a big career move to "Goldseller".

and the Number One reason . . .

1) No women.

The only problem here....is that four of them are for me.

Four are for my wife :)

The rest of it sounds fine.

Thanx for having a sense of humor.

alpha, you know Dell is selling a e5200 PC with 300w PSU for only $300

granted it comes with a 80GB HDD and 1GB ram but for $50 on newegg (after rebate) you can stick a 9600GSO and double the ram. You have a machine that can play WoW on the highest settings.

I'll take it into consideration.
I'm just not a fan of dell's mobo and small cases.

Thanks for the info. :D

Also, I wonder what wait on 8 pc's would be. When I ordered an e521 from them two years ago it took like a month to get it

Actually, could you link me?

On the dell site I can't find any pc with the 5200 under 400+ dollars without a monitor =\

THanks :) The lack of monitor and gpu make the dell not worth it.

I can build the same thing for a dew dollars less effectively in a way cooler case :D
