also I have the 6pin adapter if I need to plug in a PCI-E video card.

You have to post your system specs before anyone can advise in regards to that psu and your system. But off the record that psu is a $20 door stop and/or paper weight.

lol, thanks guys I will stick with getting the $100 PSU then.

and my specs were to use an AM3 motherboard, a dual core cpu, ddr3 1333 ram, ATi 4870 video, one Sata Harddrive,4 case fans, 1 DVD Drive.

Sunbeam sucks. Where I used to work, we would get people that would send their old computers with dead Sunbeam PSU most of the time. LOL

That PSU shouldnt be rated any higher than 400 watts, let alone 580. Dont skimp on your PSU as they tend to survive for a while if they are good and that can save you alot of money down the line.
