Is a 1 Gb 6670 or 2Gb 5550 better

Hi guys,

I have already posted the same question but on another section(Homebuilt).I have been advised to post the question here.Is a 1 Gb 6670 or 2Gb 5550 a better card for gaming in full graphics(opted resolution 1024*768 min).Which will be a better future investment as an upgrade is a distant vision from now.Is there a better card in the price range..............

6670 is a better buy for gaming, at your resolution the extra 1GB won't help.

I was thinking if newer games may need 2Gb card to play isn't it better to opt for the 2Gb though/.........

1gb won't help much, the 6670 is by far better

2GB are only useful if you plan run 3 monitors or more, the 6670 is much better for performance and features.
