Hi Folks,

We are a very small Book and DVD publishing company and we are seeking to upgrade our video and book editing computer. We are seeking a "best for the price" solution. Our videos are between one and one and a half hours long and we use Magixs video deluxe package, basically because it does everything we want and more and it was very well priced.

We have a pro-sumer camera who's quality is pretty good.

We need something that can handle all our video work for the next one and a half years when we will seek to upgrade.

Do people have any suggestions for us within the price range 600 to 1800 Euro (absolute max!) (1 Euro is approx 1.4 US dollars)? Lower the price relative to the performance the better for our meagre resources.

We are concerned with rendering times for the final burn to DVD of files up to 70 Gig in size, and of course the ability to not fail to burn if the times are large, that is, the stability of the system.

We will of course wish to use XP over Vista if at all possible.

All the best
