Acer motherboard ms-7399

hey i was just wondering how hard it would be to replace a intel dual core e5200 on a acer motherboard ms-7399 to a intel core 2 duo e8400? is this processor compatible with my mobo? my system is a gateway dx 4720-03. thanks for any input

If it was mine I'd look at the acer website and or the gateway website and see what they say is compatible. As for hard to replace, they all plug in the same way.
