Which and how many triple ram for this motherboard?

Hi all!

Im currently planning to buy a "ASUS Rampage II Extreme Republic of Gamers". It's
been a while since I upgraded, so im a bit rusty in the whole ram-world. So I
need some help chosing the proper ram's for this motherboard. Im planning to put a
I7 950 CPU on there aswell. I going to use the computer for heavy gaming. I can
imagine that a triple ram setup would be preferable?

So I ask you: Which triple-channel ram and how many should I buy?

well, how many you should buy is either 3 or 6 (if there are that many slots).

as to what you should buy, I'd say go straight to PC12800 DDR3, and forgo the lower clocked stuff unless you're sure you're not going to ever overclock. and even then, sometimes, there's no price difference.

I don't know if there is one brand better than another- Im using GSkill, and this is my first time with this brand but so far, no problems.
