wats a good optical drive / hard drive ? best bang for the buck...and reliable , efficient, and fast?

also, wat is a good lcd to buy? i am getting an hd 4890 and i still use a 16 inch samsung lcd... Should i go 22 inch or 24 inch? will the extra 2 inch make that much of a diff?
