So I just finished putting together my new acrylic case (pics & everything here), and about the only thing it's missing is any sort of front panel connectors.

The only ports I really need are USB (at least two) and a set of mic and headphone jacks. However, I would love for one to have a card reader, firewire, and the like (you can never have too many gizmo's and doohickey's!).

I have found a couple while searching the interwebs, but I would like some input either from people who actually have the items, or have something similar and can point me in the right direction.

This is about the best one from what I could find; plus, nowhere could I find the name of the company that makes it. I guess they wanted to add mystery to it. *shrugs* http://www.amazon.com/5-25-Multi-Function-Reader-Front-Panel/dp/B001E6LHPQ/ref=pd_cp_e_3

Let me know what you guys think.

Amazon simply lists it as a "generic" all-in-one card read.

I have an excellent all-in-one card reader installed in my personal pc. I also build systems for others have have installed the card reader in some of the systems I built. Unfortunately I am not at home right now and I can't remember the brand name. I'll check when I get home and post more info.

EDIT - I found it - Atech PRO-GEAR XM-5U All-in-One Internal Card Reader:

The main reason I purchased it was because it could read XD cards used in Fuji and a few other digital cameras. At the time it was difficult to find a card reader for XD cards. Windows XP recognized it right away. Mine is 4 or 5 years old and still works great.

No. Not unless you get lucky and find someone who has tried it on your model board. Oem...
