Please be clearer. If it's inside the PC, it's not an external hard disk.
Is it an intenal SATA drive, an SATA drive in an external eSATA enclosure or USB enclosure, or what?

I have a PC with problematic motherboard(i.e no video due to chipset failure)
The hard drives are ok.I wish to connect them to my lap-top but I don't know how.

Follow the link that FreeDataRecovery posted. It allow you to take the drive out of the old machine and attach it to a USB port on your notebook, so that you can read the data off of it.
