Hyper 212+ mounting position?

Just took out my hyper 212+ with a push/pull setup to clean it.

Should I mount it horizontally(fans blowing up toward the top of the case) or vertically (fans blowing toward the rear of the case)? It was in the vertical position all along, but I heard that mounting it horizontally is better because the fluid/gas in the heatpipe does not need to overcome gravity as much?

I wouldn't worry. I think most mount the thing with the fans pointing out the back of the case.

I mount similar coolers with the fan blowing upward to take advantage of the large top mounted fans in my Antec 900 cases.

As long as you have a vent in the top of your case it doesn't matter if you don't then you want it blowing front to back.

I have set mine up to use the top fan on my Antec 900 as well...works great.
