Hi, has anyone experienced this one? I can't delete anything in game, at
all. Nothing. It shows back up next time the game is restarted and they
are not in any houses or on any lot. I have Uni installed. Thought it
might be a hack so took them all out. No delete. Does anyone know what my
problem could be. Reinstalling doesn't seem to help. Thanks.

Assuming that you mean objects and recolors, it could be that the files
are read-only? If a lot is read-only it will not delete from the house
bin, so I assume the same goes for object. Try checking the files in
your download folder.

Thanks, yes, I mean objects and recolors. No, they are not read only. I had
to correct that for SimPE but will check, again. Appreciate it.

Make sure that you are not trying to delete default objects and
recolors..........as some objects came with recolors already.
Also, seems like I remember if you are deleting something that may be in one
of your houses, it may not delete.........but I may be wrong too :)

No, these items aren't in houses or on lots at all. They didn't look good
in the game so wanted to delete them. Some are new objects, object
recolors, wall paper, and floors. All have the little asterisk and are not
default. This is the strangest thing that I have ever seen. Thank you but
I may have to use SimPE to delete them. Much appreciated.

You can delete them from the downloads folder if you know what the names of
them are.

Thanks, I don't remember the names, I have so many, heh. I am going to see
the thumbnails in SimPE and disable them, find the disabled ones and then
delete. A lot of trouble but will save space for more. No use keeping what
you don't want. By the way, I love your stuff, have all the Sims 1 that you
made, too. Appreciate the help.

Oh thank you :)
You may be disappointed with the thumbnails you see in simpe as they are
thumbnails of the texture map for each object, not what the object looks
like in the game. The only thumbnails you will see in object workshop will
be the default maxis ones, unfortunatly, you won't see the recolors.

I hate that, heh. You are right and it is hard to tell what they are just
from that. Wish there was an object viewer like in Sims 1. Loved that.
Thanks, appreciate it.

Yes, I wish there was an object browser too...........it would make things a
