Hi all!

About to buy a CPU cooler for my new PC, and am wondering what the best option for cooling inside of my NZXT Phantom would be;

I could get a short CPU cooler, (e.g. the Noctua NH-C12P or the Scythe Shuriken) and use get the big 200mm fan for the side of the case as an exhaust fan,

Or

Get a big Cooler like the Noctua NH-D14?

Thanks for your help guys!

Hi.

The side fan works for intake, so, the 1st options isn't good idea IMO. You can go with the NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow, Thermalright Archon or Thermalright Venomous X, all those are very good coolers.

I want to know the answer to this as well. I have the same case and a p8z68 mobo. I want liquid but don't know the best choice? I have read that there could be mounting issues. Looking at Corsiar H80 and H100.
