Windows xp dbs log

Does winxp home edition SP3 have a dbs log file ? (I have been unable to locate it )
and if so can it be accessed ? ( with aim to viewing System File Checker scan)

    Have you not tried the obvious and opened the Event Log?

    type : eventvwr.msc into the "Run" box on the Start Menu and look under
    the "System" section.

    It will be logged as "Information" when it starts and exists and as "Error"
    if it came across a corrupt file or could not locate the original
    installation files.

    I had looked there ; it justs lists 'scan started ' and 'scan completed sucessfully '.

    That was the informational , I assume.
    If no red "X" , then it found no error (s) to correct, I would assume.
