This drive is recommended for Notebook/Netbook everywhere i read.

I have a desktop SATA II/III Mobo. So i wonder if this driver will work.
*i think it will since it 2.5"+sata ii but confused by all the ads for notebook*

My desktop is gaming, video/graphic designing/editing, and programming.

If this hybrid drive wont work or you have a better recommendation feel free to comment. *I know SSD if faster but it hell EXPANSIVE*

Over all Question: Should I Get it?

I was tempted to pull the trigger on this one a couple of times.

It will work in your desktop. However, my recommendation would be to buy a smallish ssd like a 60GB and use a spinning disk for storage. Or, better yet use a NAS for storage.

But, if this intrigues you. Go for it! For $100 you basically get a sometimes fast 500gb hdd.
