Thank you for that input added color. And yes, I've heard of google one or twice. Still, GELATO will not render in Max2010 or Max2008 with the i7 or a q6600. We have yet to try Maya. The google searches and even nvivda have conflicting information.

We are setting up a small render farm together with our networked systems (7 to 10 systems) that will greatly add to the rendering speed. In several months we may upgrade a system with a quadro fx 4600 or 4800 if CUDA can add some speed.

I'll ATI a look too.

Any info, and color, is appreciated.
