Overclocking program?

Hi there, I was just wondering if you need a program to beable to overclock or if you can just do it of the boot menu or something?

What components? Usually we use the BIOS for overclock the CPU and RAM and programs for overclock the GPU.

Ok thanks, umm what's a BIOS and whats a gpu, lol sorry I'm a bit clueless still trying to get better at computers wait, is a gpu a graphics card?

Not a problem.

1- BIOS: This terms means basic input/output system, in easy words is where you can find all the settings that you can change on your rig, date, time, CPU speed, RAM speed, fan speed, voltages...all.
2- GPU: Graphic Processor Unit, in easy words is the graphic card.

Ok, thanks so the BIOS you find in the boot munu right? Just before your pc starts up?
So it's as simple as just changing the number in the bios?

Yeah, it's the same menu that you see.

It's not that simple, you need know what settings change and in what percent or this will never work.
