Eee pc laptop keyboard key that have letters with numbers (eg;J and 3) pressing

Eee PC laptop (windows xp)
my keyboard is messed up.The letters and a number that share a key do not appear when you press them. eg; J (top) and 1 (bottom) share a key when I press this very key, 1 appears when I press shift and the very key nothing appears. The left part of the keyboard that have one character on a key eg; A does not share a key,is fine pressing A gives me A
