I ran Prime95 for 5 minutes and my CPU was around 98c. Not good correct?
You should probably be aiming for heatspreader temperatures around 70C or less under a full load. Core temperatures are typically about 5C higher.
That's way too high, even for the stock cooler. Check if it is seated properly.
