[Sims2 Uni] Can't marry

One of my sims got engaged while at university. Now he has graduated. He
can invite his fiancee over, they're still engaged, they're still in love,
they can whohoo no problem -- but they can't marry. There is no "Propose"
interaction when I click on the fiancee; I got a wedding arch and it
doesn't help; I have thrown a wedding party (yes, I had that option) and
everybody is happily having fun but there is no way to get the principals
actually married.

Anybody had this problem? Better still, anybody got a solution?

TIA,
Anna

Yes, I've had it... the only way I got around it was by moving the
fiancè into college, and then you can either drop them out or go
through the hoops :-\

NPCs are supposed to auto-graduate when you propose them to move in,
but this doesn't always happen :-(

The fiancee is already in college, that's where my sim met her. She's a
townie though, not playable. And I'm not getting a "propose - move in"
interaction either (back in the neighbourhood now).

Invite her to the house in the neighborhood, then use the boolprop
testingcheatsenables cheat to move add her to the household. Then she will
be playable. Or you could download the teleporter shrub to move her in.
Once she is in the household, she will be playable and you should be able to
get them married.

Controll another sim and send them to college. Make them move into a
home. Then invite the fiance to move in with them. Then that townie
becomes playable. Get the fiance through college or fail out. Then your
main Sim can have them move in.

Same position I was in... she was a cheerleader. I used the debug
cheat and Tombstone of L & D to move her into the dorm and take
control of her.

Ahhh... check. A cheerleader, yes. :)

So, thanks to all -- I'm following someone's suggestion to move her in
while at college (in fact I've just got her pledged into a Greek house),
we'll see how that works out.
