Computer won't boot

The computer has a brand new cpu, brand new video card, brand new motherboard. Booted it the first time, it loaded windows, but the computer wouldn't let me use the mouse, nor the keyboard. So I unpluged both... the cpu fan went on high, the screen went blank...

I'm at a loss... I've tried a bunch of stuff, such as removing one memory module, or reseating the video card... nothing works. help?

Seriously... it doesn't matter what ever you plug or unplug on your back or front panel. From your allusion, a USB flash drive could harm your system?

It seems like a motherboard being DOA.
