I am really having a hard time deciding what graphics solution I am going with for my new rig. At this time I am leaning toward running two XFX GX260NADBF GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 in SLI, which will run me about $380 at this time. My main other considerations are running two Radeon 4890s in CrossFire or two GTX 275s in SLI, but I can't find benchmarks to compare these three solutions alongside each other! I'm sure a lot of people who are looking to build a system right now are having the same trouble. Please share you ideas for solutions!

@rockyrococo Give other details about your setup...

and the main thing is what tychoblu asked - Screen resolution...

2x GTX 260 can easily run most of the current games @ Max settings without any problem...And the HD 4890s would come close in price and better in performance...but they would consume more power than the GTX and give out more heat...

I say two 4890s in crossfire (that's a crap load of heat though)

Other good choices are two GTX 275s in SLI or two significantly factory overclocked GTX 260 sp 216s.

The GTX 275s will be a little more than the 4890s, but they run cooler and use less power :D. The 260 sp 216s in SLI are pretty close behind and some factory overclocked ones will keep up making them a pretty good deal.

I thought I saw 275's for $204 each over at newegg ealier - Sparkle though...

but for the extra $28 would give a decent boost in power :)

are a few decent deals after rebates etc and most come with some decent free games

have a look
