I have had my computer for about 4 months and my operating system is Windows 7.

Randomly the Windows start up screen now freezes. But before it freezes the moniter acts as if it refreshes the screen.

my specs are:
ati radeon 4870
6G DDR3 Corsair
300G harddrive
I7 quad core 920
Gigabyte motherboard GA-EX58-UD4P

Again this is out of no where. my system repair sometimes gets it to start but other times it does nothing. need help.

Check your power supply

Switch to non-beta OS before blaming the H/W. If its h/w check the ram
