Hello,

I have a failing hard disk in my HP 7750n and I happen to have a 1TB SATA-II drive in my office. If I use it, I'd love to get the 300/GB transfer rate for optimum speed...

I found an article on how to do it, but it was using drivers circa 2005, so I was hoping for some updated info.

Thanks!

the 300 Gb/s transfer speed is theoretical , not actual

The best desk top hard drives are not much more than 100Gb/s. Have a look at the hard drive charts on this site
