Ultra MD2 5.25" 4 Port USB 2.0 and Card Reader

Does anyone know how to properly install a 'Ultra MD2 5.25" 4 Port USB 2.0 and Card Reader' and get it to work? I connected all cables as instructed using the "manual" included with the usb/card reader and cross referencing the manual of the mobo and i can't get a single damn thing to work on, the card reader drives don't even register. Anyone got ideas?

I have the exact same issue. I have a P5E Asus motherboard and am running a raid 1 configuration. I followed the steps in the instructions, nothing in the instructions however eluded to a connection for the card reader itself. I'm figuring the USB connections would handle this communication. My USB ports seem to be working, it's just not recognizing my card reader.
