Hey, I just ordered all the parts for a new computer. So I don't need help picking the parts, but I was hoping someone could point me towards a good guide for first time new computer builders. I tried just googling it, but the guides I came across said things like, "Socket 939 is the newest type of AMD motherboard," and I bought one of those about 4 years ago, so that doesn't seem like the ideal kind of guide to use!

I thought there'd be one on Tom's hardware that would be easy to find. Am I just blind or something?

No there really isn't a good one here. It's not like the process has changed drastically since 939.

Look at youtube tutorials, there are lots.
