Hi

My configuration consists of the following:

XFX HD4870 1GB
ASROCK A770DE+ MBO
PHENOM II x3 720BE
2X 2GB DDR2 PC8500
1x HDD
1x DVD/RW

So I'm wondering what PSU will suffice ? Store where I'm buying is limited to those:

*CORSAIR 450W, HX Series CMPSU-450HXEU
*CORSAIR 520W, HX Series CMPSU-520HXEU
*FORTRON 500W, BlueStorm II

Corsair 450w and Fortron are about the same price, but Corsair 520w costs more.
What to do?

450w is good for the rig right now, but then you might need a new one to handle future upgrades. I would get the bigger Corsair just to have some room for upgrading. Never heard or Fortron myself, but Corsair is a respected name.

The general rule of thumb is a high quality 500 to 550 watt power supply with sufficient current (amps) on the 12 volt rail(s) can easily handle a system with any single video card made.

The Corsair HX520 you listed would be an excellent choice.

As for future upgrades, if you do not plan on using two video cards operating in Crossfire mode, then you will be fine. Computer systems with the brand new ATI Radeon HD 5850 and 5870 video cards only require a 500 watt power supply. The new cards are about 10% more efficient than current generation cards. A system with two 5850's or 5870's operating in dual Crossfire mode only requires a 600 watt power supply. We will be seeing more energy efficient videos cards in the future.
