My highest stable core clock was (edit) 960 tonight =\

I was wishing I could bump it to 1000.

Just thought I'd tell some people that I almost made it.

Maybe I can get there with some aftermarket means.

Also: Which is better? A core overclock or a memory overclock?

Did you try to up the voltage on the card?
There both important depending on game, various results will occur.

I'm trying to not void the xfx warranty. Not entirely sure what all I can do but I'm not willing to void it quite yet. Maybe when the 5xxx cards come out

if you had a asus card that wouldn't matter

you might have to up the voltage or edit the BIOS (do a back up first) just in case you kill it than you may be able to put it back....quick

If its 1.4 volts, youll have a tough time doing 1Ghz. Getting as close as you did means you do have a decent card, with some room to spare. Up to you whether to up the V's or not
