Will 478 duo work on Soyo P4I875P?

nope. the 478 pin socket only held intels P4's.

Soyo, 478, duo core...something is not right. GLWT.

Well after (trying to) look them up i see there not around anymore. So yea.... something isn't right.

Now... if you know, can you recommend the best bang_for_the_buck processor for the board? It seems like the P4s are really cheap now, so I would think the the top of the line would be the best, but that many not necessarily be the case.

I'm on an extremely low budget... like under $100 for cpu, heatsink and fan... and video card if possible. I'm not a gamer but do watch movies on my computer.
