Hey Everyone,
So here is my dilemma: I've been having audio issues with my motherboard (Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe) for quite a while now. I've tried all of the SoundMax drivers I could find for my chipset (ADI1988) and they all give me extremely scratchy/poppy sounding audio through my speakers/headphones. The only up-side to these drivers is that my mic works with them.
When I un-install and remove the Soundmax drivers and let Vista 32-bit install it's own High Definition Audio Device driver the audio becomes clear and noise-free but my mic stops working.
Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks,
Ian
