I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that it has to do with the GPU dying because it's an Nvidia 8 series.

Yeah I'd heard about that one with the nvidia chips. I'm just wondering if that's the issue or if it's rediculous e.g. his cdrom broke so he wants to join the anti-hp case or something.

Aahahahah how about the small ink particles the become airborne when their laser printers are in use that damage the lungs with dioxins and heavy metals such as mercury but good luck with that the pharmaceuticals can put methylmercury based thermisol in vaccines.
