Hello,
since Partition Magic coudn't resize partition on a Hard Disk (because of some errors like #1608), I read around that my solution should have be 'chkdsk /r'; I typed it and it fixed a lot but windows showed a 'question mark' on the icon of the partition and quickly the icon of partition disappeared at all!
Is there any chance to recover the data? I installed 'Stella Data Recovery' but before launching it I'd like wait for someone more expert thank me.

THanks.

Never run chkdsk on a drive that has data you need. The reason is there is one way for Chkdsk to fix issues and that is to remove the sectors from the file structure.

If you run chkdsk you cannot get the data back - without some advanced skills and tools.

Always plug the drive into a USB/SATA connector and attempt to remove what you need. Then blow it away, run surface testing and then repartition. But once a drive errors on you it is likely toast - new drives are cheap.
