E7500 the limit overclocking

hai there ,recently i just down great the processor form Q8200 to E7500,
and i can clock to 4.1GHZ because the Q8200 is limit the overclock.i just want to ask the community can i go any further?
if some one have tips for me.....thank u.

wow...how you OC ur proc until 4.1GHZ?With what FSB and that multiplier?I using e5300,OC it until 3.7Ghz and cannot go more than that. Can u teach me?I using exactly same board with you.

OC isn't a guarantee. Certain chips are fabbed better than one another. Some chips OC better than others.

Gary. You should be happy with that OC. Pushing your computer that much more might be fatal to your parts.

i SET THE multiplier 10x, FSB 400,System memory multiplier 800 and i can push to 4.2 but window fail to open.

yes i agree with u coz intel not stupid enough to give cip for 100 above can do more then new cpu,right.

but i use lot of fan and water cooling to make my northbrige cool like give and take situations, actually i like to learn more about overclock can u give tips or perhaps guide line for me.

Well, if you are already on watercooling, the next step for max frequency is LN2.

Cost is the factor here.

Overclocking was designed so you could get more than you paid for.

yes ,but some times i batter stay on safe side,the world of overclock some times depend on luck also right,may be when i cange to stage i7 ill take the risk.

Well, it depends on whether you want to risk the risk of losing your hardware or shortening it's lifespan.

Personally I am a student, I can't afford to replace my computer often, so I cannot risk OCs etc.

Really does depend on your situation.

It's like war. I'm on the smaller side with 2,000 men you with 25,000 men.

You might be able to make a rush over the trenches with a suicidal tactic but I can't afford that type of tactic. I got to play in safe, under sandbags etc.
