I've got a Gateway FX530XT which was factory over clocked. Flashed the BIO's and lost the over clock. Does anyone out there have this computer and could send me pictures of thier BIO's so I can get it reset.

Oh well. Don't worry about it. The BIOS update was probably to help stabilize the laptop.

By losing the Overclock your temps and battery life should be improved, you should probably leave it as it is if the difference is not too noticeable.

Well then get the specs from gateway's page, and you can overclock it.
There are a lot of excellent overclockers here in the forum and once you know what do you want the specs to be it should be easy to get there.

What is the CPU?

If it is Intel, you might get away with a pin mod:

I've never overclocked anything and I don't want to miss a setting. I think I need to increase the mult to 12 and vcore up one notch are there any other setting I need to adjust.
