I have a dell dimension 9200c with an intel pentium d @ 2.8 ghz
i have intergrated graphics
If i want to upgrade so i can set up a dual display, what graphics card can i get
i can only fit half height, low profile pci express
Or, can i somehow split a dvi or vga port into two dvi or two vga?

I'm planning to upgrade to a macbook pro and can i dual display with that?

Last question. it's kind of off topic. can my proccessor play most computer games?
thanks

dual display card, not a gamer card

along with dual display, this card will let you play older games with your current CPU. You would have issue with any current game (post-2004) and settings above low

I would not spend more then $50 on your current rig unless it was to upgrade ram to 2GB.

looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like it will fit
my computer's slots are 3 inches at largest

also, how about the mac

both are displayed with the normal bracket. Click on the small pictures (the one with the box and disc) and you will see the low profile brackets that you swap with the normal one. takes all of 30 seconds.

no clue about the mac, your best bet would be to try a forum that has more mac users. Tom's tends to lead toward the PC user...heavily towards it.

i do some gaming, civilization, halo 1
but there are some games that i can't play like halo 2, dirt, etc

if it comes with a low profile bracket it will but its not as cheap as the 4350 and not as powerful as the 4550

I would just get the 4550, it will handle Civ games, dirt, and Halo 2 (you need Vista for halo 2)

Reply to ct1615

where can i find the 4550?
I have vista by the way.

Reply to nibuoy

wait a minute, isn't the 4550 regular size?
are you talking about the 4650?

Reply to nibuoy

yes the 4650, sorry typo on the 4550
