Power supply prices

Hey all, long-time reader, first-time poster.

I was just wondering how rapidly prices change for power supplies (and to let anyone looking for a higher-end model to know about a pretty decent deal). This 750W Antec TP-750 on NewEgg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371022&cm_sp=DailyDeal-_-17-371-022-_-Product is over 1/3 off regular price and looks like a steal.

Problem is, I'd be buying it for a rig I won't be getting all the parts for for another 3-4 months and was wondering if power supply technology changes as quickly as others and I'd be better off passing it up for another deal down the road.

Anyone know? Thanks in advance

I would wait. Black friday and the week after xmas are good times to get any computer stuff. I used to get a free case or power supply nearly every year at frys on black friday, but the rebates don't cover the original price anymore.

^5 +1 what o1die said. There will be some great bargains in the USA on Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving day.

Yeah good point. I thought about that, I guess I just got excited and wanted to jump the gun >_>. Need an upgrade real bad, can't wait!

Agreed - Black Friday is a good time to buy. Also, I've often seen the PC Power & Cooling 750w for $80, so keep that in mind as well.
