hello friends its me again i have a little dilema i would like to update my bios i have the evga 790i ftw mobo(not the ultra nor the digital) i havent installed an os yet as im trying to get the system stable i havent even manually entered mem (corsair ddr3 dhx 1600 4g ) not planning to oc either so here it goes there are many opinions on how to update bios some say once flashed( im using cd rom method) turn sys off unplug plug back in hold cmos while powering up some say the same but remove jumper and battery its confusing and i dont wanna mess it up please help :heink:

once its flashed its flashed and you wont need to remove the battery

so once falshed power up and all should be well
