My motherboard only has 3 fan headers/connection locations. I am already using all 3, but want to get more fans. Do I need to buy a fan controller, or can I stack the connectors on the motherboard? By the way, they are 3-Pin connectors.
They do in fact make adapters to stack them commonly used for dual fan cpu coolers. You just shouldn't use any that exceed the output of pin point you're hooking up to. Believe it or not I've seen this information listed in the manual (maximum current) for a connector.
