Would an old 65nm Core2 Duo E6700 work with this mobo?

under "additional technologies" it says that it has 45nm compatibility...does that mean it supports 45nm only?

yep that should work they are both socket 775. Manufacturing tech doesn't really have to do with compatibility, it is more socket type.
