My motherboard has several PCIe x 16 slots, I am looking to get a new graphics card and I have heard that card designed for PCIe 2.0 WILL work in PCI 1.0 slots, with some hampered performance at high resolutions. Then I heard that PCIe 2.0 card WONT work in PCIe 1.0 slots only 1.1 slots, I have never heard of 1.1 slots and am not sure if that's what I have. Can anyone clear this up?
