Um I just put together a new PC, using amd x2 240 Cpu cause I only needed to do hw, movies and possible alittle gaming afterhours maybe dod:s or l4d.
I had all components from my usual supplier except ddr3(sold out o.O)
I had sent my dad out to get ddr3 for me, ended up getting me a 4GB Patriot Viper 1600
Question is, people told me afterwards thats no good, cause something to do with amd or my cpu? Is this true? if so should I just replace the cpu to higher version?
My system is:
MA770-UD3P
Athlon x2 240
4GB DDR3 Patriot Viper 1600
500GB HDD
1GB 9400GT(Free off a friend, any suggestions?)

Thx in advance
