Hi I'm having some trouble with my internet connection. I'm on a LAN with 3 computers connected, it works on 2 of them, just not mine. I was playing a game the other day and it just disconnected randomly. I didn't think too much of it and rest my router. But it still didn't work so I did some general troubleshooting (disabling/resetting the network card, checking the ip address and such) and found that I could send and receive packets, and that all signs said it should work fine. But whenever I would go on my browser or log in to a game etc, It would act as if there was no connection, for instance if I would open my browser (google chrome) instead of maybe just loading slow, it would just immediatley say this page is not available. I also couldn't get to my isp home page (by typing my ip address into the browser)

Here's some of my info:

Windows XP Home service pack 3
Gigabyte EP45 UD3L motherboard
inel core 2 duo e8400
Dynex DX-PCIGB gigabit PCI adapter (I also have an integrated realtek one, but I bought the dynex thinking it was the problem)

Let me know if you need more info

One thing you can try to rule out is the corruption of TCP/IP Stack in Windows. Try the steps outlined in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357 and see if it works. ;)
