I am experiencing a weird problem of disc space on my hp mini netbook.
I'm getting disc space notification saying low disc space and when I delete programs and files instead of the disc space increasing it is dropping lower than before.

You can lose space to things like Windows restore points, unemptied recycle bins, growing temp directories, browser cache, and passing werewolves.
I usually recommend downloading "Windirstat" and running it with an Admin-privileged login. Enable the display of Unknown space and sort by descending size. It will frequently pinpoint the issue for you.
