I have tried to install Quiken financial but it gives me
an error message and to fix it I have to fdo the
following and I do not know how to do it. Please
help...Here is what I have to do:
"Your CONFIG.SYS file needs updating. Quicken needs at
least
Files=50 and Buffers=10. You have Files=xx and
Buffers=yy".
From DOS or a DOS Session, make a copy of your
CONFIG.SYS file and name it
CONFIG.Q. Edit your CONFIG.SYS file where you see
Files= and/or Buffers=
so the values are Files=50 and Buffers=10.
Restart your system, start Windows
and start Quicken's Setup again. For more
information on these settings, see your
DOS or Windows manual.
