Motherboard Drivers

I am about to change the Motherboard and CPU in my daughter's machine. I need to reuse the HDD. How do I avoid the motherboard change screwing up the HDD. The motherboard drivers will all be different as well as the video card driver. Deleting the old video card driver is no problem but what about the MBO drivers?
